The senior citizens program at the Y offers a variety of opportunities for social interaction and fun. Activities such as picnics, line dancing, and walks are planned and offered to seniors. The Y plans day trips to Cincinnati, Indianapolis and various destinations. The Y offers a wide variety of classes, activities and special events in a relaxing, congenial environment. Make new friends while pursuing long-held interests and discovering new ones.
Our Silver Sneakers classes are physician approved specifically for "seniors" and run Monday through Thursday, 10-11am every week. The classes are great fun and building in attendance! There is a social and light snack following the exercise class the 4th Monday of every month year round.
Water Fitness Classes and Water Arthritis classes come with no stress on the joints, free/easy movement in the water (you may wear a life preserver, several participants do) and you will begin to realize these classes work and give you life-changing results!
