Aerobic Programs
All regularly aerobic classes are included in membership.  Free to Members

Instructors are subject to change.  Lunch time classes are shortened to 40-45 minutes,

otherwise classes are 60 minutes (except Cycling which is 45 minutes.)

Fitness Equipment Orientations
Learn proper exercise machine set-up and technique to make your program safe and effective. Special Instructions: Orientation is required prior to using equipment. Wellness Staff must approve special considerations (knowledge of previous experience). A minimum 24-hour advance scheduling for orientation is strongly encouraged. Orientation required for members age 16 and up. Youth Strength Class required for members age 12-15 years old.

Tired of never seeming to get anywhere with your workouts? Not sure what exercises work best for what purpose? We have four personal trainers to aid you with your routine.

Fee:
$30 for 1 hour session
$55 for two 1 hour sessions
$100 for four 1 hour sessions

 

Group Personal Training

2 person - $35 for 1 hour session

3 person - $40 for 1 hour session

 


Y Connection
This program is designed to guide new members along a path to overall well being. It is also a great tool for current members looking for direction. Members keep logs which are analyzed by the fitness staff. The "Y Connection" binder you receive will contain: workout logs, diet logs, educational articles, and a To Do Checklist. By completing the program you will receive a t-shirt.

Stationary Rowing Speed Testing
This is a great way to test your current fitness level. The Fitness Department will monitor speed testing over the distance of 2000 meters. Members will get a Fitness Staff person to conduct the test when they are ready. A staff member must witness the test to be official. A member may test only one time per month. Maybe you can set a YMCA record for your age group.
Blood Pressure Check
Concerned about your blood pressure? Let our Wellness Staff help you monitor this critical measurement of your health. Stop by the Wellness Office on Monday through Friday during normal hours. A check only takes a couple of minutes. Ask for your blood pressure prior to your workout for a more accurate reading.

Body Composition Test
Would you like to know what is your muscle to fat ratio?  Stop by the Wellness Office Monday through Friday during normal working hours for a body composition test. It only takes a few minutes and will give you a wealth of information about your fitness and health level. This test should be run prior to your workout for optimum accuracy. Special Instructions: The Omron or calipers could be used at your request.
